New Mass Effect game: eight things we know

CVG has rounded-up what we know so far about Bioware's anticipated new Mass Effect game.

Although the video game was widely expected to be called Mass Effect 4, Bioware have reiterated that it will not be the title. Many of the game's finer details are still subject to change.

Some of the biggest news includes the return of the jumping space tank as well as male and female hero characters who are dressed in N7 armour, suggesting Normandy operatives. Concept art will continue to be human.

It will be set during the lifetime of series protagonist Commander Shephard but hosted in a whole new region of space, with possibilities to return to old locations. However, Shephard will not be the star of the show.

A few familiar characters may appear, but there will be predominantly new ones.
